Dinosaurs VR Classroom Experience

Dinosaurs is a VR application for Oculus Rift.

The original purpose of this application is to help teachers using VR in the classroom to contextualize their lessons about dinosaurs. When launched from the educational app Ormiboard, the teacher can teleport the students to a specific location. For example, the teacher moved to the T-Rex, then press the share key to have all students moving to the T-Rex. The students can then see what the teacher is looking at. From an educational stand point, shared experience increases student engagement, and facilitates memorization of the educational content provided by the teacher during the experience.

The environment is friendly, wide and open, with a clear sky to avoid students to be unnecessary stressed.

Students can walk in the valley and discover dinosaurs by their own until the teacher move them to another location.
